ABOUT ANTANEY HOGAN

Hello, I'm Antaney Hogan, and from as far back as I can remember, my dream was to serve as a soldier. At 18, I eagerly enlisted in the Army National Guard, where I proudly served my country in Afghanistan. The experience was transformative, instilling in me a deep sense of duty and a commitment to protecting others.

Upon returning home, I began my journey in law enforcement with the Smyrna Police Department. During my time there, I acquired various certifications, including SWAT and hostage rescue training. It was an incredibly rewarding period, where I had the privilege of working closely with the community, building trust, and making a tangible difference in people's lives.

My dedication to service led me to join the GBI Gang Task Force, where I investigated gang activity across state lines, contributing to some of Georgia's most significant racketeering cases. The work was challenging but incredibly fulfilling, knowing that our efforts were helping to keep our communities safe from organized crime.

Now, as an Internal Affairs Investigator at the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, I ensure that our personnel uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, operating within Georgia State standards. It's a role that I take very seriously, as I believe that maintaining trust and accountability within law enforcement is essential for effective community policing.
